Our Coir Pallets, also known as Coir Pillows, are a versatile solution for erosion control, sediment containment, and the encouragement of vegetation growth. The pillows are made of coir fibre packed into a coir bag in loosely pressed bundles or rolls. These 100% natural, eco-friendly products are widely used in riverbank stabilisation, wetland regeneration, shoreline protection, pond lining, habitat restoration projects, and as floating islands. Engineered for durability and sustainability, our Coir Pallets can be used to provide a protective base that promotes vegetation establishment while supporting soil stability across various terrains.
Manufactured from densely packed natural coir fibres encased within coir mesh bags, these flexible stabilisation elements provide adaptable ground conformity in areas where traditional cylindrical logs may not be suitable.
Coir Pallets function as sediment containment platforms, planting media supports and ecological reinforcement units, helping stabilise soil while promoting vegetation integration.
Engineered for environmental resilience and gradual biodegradation, our Coir Pallets form part of a wider natural fibre stabilisation system designed for sustainable infrastructure and habitat restoration projects.
The coir fibre matrix retains moisture and supports root colonisation while gradually decomposing in alignment with vegetation maturity.

Salike Coir Pallets are specified for:
Suitability should be assessed relative to hydraulic conditions and project design intent.
Clear debris and stabilise the underlying surface where required.
Position pallets along the target area, ensuring continuous coverage and direct soil contact where applicable.
Secure using timber stakes, hardwood pegs or steel pins. Anchoring density should reflect hydraulic exposure and slope gradient.
Plant native species directly into or through the coir matrix to initiate long-term ecological reinforcement.
Where used in aquatic environments, ensure anchoring and flotation design are appropriate for water depth and flow conditions.
Custom dimensions and project-specific configurations available upon request.
Typical weight range: approximately 3–7 kg per square metre (depending on density and moisture content at time of supply).
Final installed mass will vary according to site saturation levels.
Price range available upon request.

Salike products are designed to provide erosion control, surface stabilisation and ecological enhancement in accordance with their intended application. They do not constitute structural support systems unless expressly stated.
Performance is dependent on site-specific conditions, including but not limited to soil characteristics, slope geometry, hydrological and hydraulic forces, installation quality, vegetation establishment, and ongoing environmental factors. As such, project outcomes may vary.
All technical data, specifications and guidance are provided in good faith, based on current knowledge and experience. Variations may occur due to the inherent properties of natural coir materials and site-specific conditions.
It remains the responsibility of the project designer, engineer and/or contractor to determine the suitability of the product for the intended application and to ensure correct specification and installation.
Salike® Terms and Conditions apply.
