Manufactured from densely bonded natural coir fibres, these flexible sheet systems are suited to smaller-scale stabilisation works, detailed landscape integration and areas requiring close ground conformity.
Coir Sheets are specified where biodegradable reinforcement and ecological integration are prioritised within slope stabilisation, river edge protection and habitat restoration schemes.
The natural fibre matrix provides moisture retention and structural integrity during the vegetation establishment phase before gradually decomposing in alignment with root maturity.

Suitability should be assessed against gradient, hydraulic loading and design intent.
Remove debris, loose stones and unstable soil to ensure full ground contact.
Lay the coir sheet flat against the soil surface, ensuring continuous coverage and alignment downslope.
Secure using biodegradable pins, timber stakes or steel pegs.
Typical fixing rate: approximately 2–3 pegs per square metre (subject to slope gradient and exposure).
Apply seed, hydroseed mix or plant directly through the fibre matrix to initiate vegetation establishment.
Overlaps should follow slope direction to prevent water ingress beneath joints.
